Here are the categories for this year’s awards:
1. Community Partner
Awarded to a local community member who or an organization that has significantly aligned themselves with the Foundation for Recovery and its mission and goals
2. Robert Rehmar Addiction Professional Award
Awarded to a licensed substance abuse counselor or working in a related field who has dedicated his/her career to helping others live free from active addiction.
3. Foundation for Recovery Award for Excellence in Addiction Research & Education
Awarded to an academic professional in the field of addiction research who has dedicated his/her career for the advancement and study of addiction related areas.
4. Foundation for Recovery Community Awareness Award
Awarded to an individual who or an organization that has substantially made strides to educate our community of the services available to the addict in need via the courts, community sponsored programs, education or media
5. Recovery Remembers
Awarded posthumously to those individuals who had made significant life-long contributions to recovery
6. “The Brick”
Our organizations highest recognition honoring an individual who or an organization that has significantly contributed to the overall success of the Foundation for Recovery
