Mother and Child in Recovery from Addiction

For women & children.

Specialized support, resources, and activities for mothers in recovery and those struggling with trauma and substance use.

An evidence-based family program

Connect with other family members and learn the skills to improve personal self-care, communication, and your relationship with the person in your life who’s currently struggling with substances. The Community Reinforcement and Family Training (CRAFT) is a 12-week workshop and support group facilitated by trained family members in Nevada.

Whether it’s your spouse, teenager, adult child, or a close friend. By applying the CRAFT model you’ll learn how to better understand substance use, co-dependency, and setting healthy boundaries.

Find or start a group

Find a local group meeting in your area or ask us about training so you can start up and facilitate your own group.

Foundation for Recovery has trained over 53 CRAFT facilitators in Nevada. We provide all the materials you’ll need to facilitate your group. Each CRAFT facilitator completes our 18 hour CRAFT Facilitator Training.

Person-Directed Recovery

Person-centered recovery is directed, as much as possible by the person – including decisions about who should be included in the process.  The planning identifies just a few small, but meaningful, short-term changes that the individual can focus on helping to reduce some of the barriers or challenges moving forward.  Person centered care should be central to all recovery frameworks.
