Rock Star Becomes Science Star: Scientists Mapping Ozzy Osbourne’s DNA

There are half dozen articles on Ozzie`s  DNA on Google.  At first I thought it was a waste and pathetic and only reinforced the negative stigma of addiction.  But after rolling it around for awhile, I find the whole thing interesting, entertaining and am really curious to know what the outcome will be……and if this information will be published.

St. Louis, Missouri – Scientists are interested in Ozzy Osbourne’s genes (please note spelling). Cofactor Genomics (St. Louis) was hired by Massachusetts firm Knome to help look into what they called “unique” elements of Ozzie’s DNA.

Person-Directed Recovery

Person-centered recovery is directed, as much as possible by the person – including decisions about who should be included in the process.  The planning identifies just a few small, but meaningful, short-term changes that the individual can focus on helping to reduce some of the barriers or challenges moving forward.  Person centered care should be central to all recovery frameworks.
